Good Samaritan Medical and Dental Ministry Mission 2016
Organized by: Ashley Doan
Good Samaritan Medical and Dental Ministry (GSMDM) is an organization that is near and dear to my heart. I've seen this ministry grow from its very beginnings to where it is now, and it never ceases to amaze me the work that God accomplishes through this group. Year after year, the volunteers that make up this organization pour out their time and devotion to help serve the people of Vietnam, and I have been fortunate enough to be a part of it for so long.
This summer, I will be returning with the ministry to the northern province of Cao Bang to provide spiritual and physical healing to the underserved. This mission has been a way for God to use me to help others, while also reaffirming my aspirations to one day work in the medical field. I've never asked my friends or family to donate to this cause before, but I've felt a tug on my heart to do more this year. If you are able, please donate. If you are unable to donate, please support me and my team through prayers.
Your donations will go directly to the patients we encounter in Vietnam.
Cost for surgeries:
- Open heart surgeries for children with congenital heart defects done in Hanoi: $2,000-$2,500

- Cataract surgery: $150 (US $3500)
Thank you for continuously supporting me and my family these past years. God Bless!
