GoodWill: Covering the Cost of Incarceration
Organized by: Mark Hecker
We all know that returned citizens face an uphill battle. Getting work is hard; building wealth is harder. Our friend Will found a way to be successful. He started a family, he started a business, and he bought a home.
Now, despite no failed drug tests or new charges, the system is trying its best to crush his burgeoning dreams.
With Will facing up to 10 months behind bars, we want to pull together to ensure that his future remains bright. Working as a community, we know that we can ensure Will keeps his home while we make necessary investments to keep Clean Decisions and Changing Perceptions afloat until his return. As we all know, Will is not just about creating a better future for himself. He's trying to give many others the chance to achieve their full potential.
With $15,000, we can pay Will's mortgage (providing housing for Dylan, his son, and Karen, Dylan's mother) and invest in his work supporting returning citizens until he returns home once again. To show appreciation for this support, $100+ donors will receive 10% off any Clean Decision jobs booked after July 1, 2017. $500+ donor will receive $50 off.
We hope you'll consider supporting our friend Will, and his good work, by making a contribution today.
