THE STORY:

On Monday, May 16, 2016, a devastating fire completely destroyed the home of our nephew, Christopher Gorny, and his young family.

Chris and his wife, Stacie, have 2 beautiful young boys aged 6 and 3 and another baby due to arrive this summer. Thank God no one was injured in the fire, but the house and belongings were a total loss.

The York, Pennsylvania community and the Red Cross have been extremely kind and generous in helping Chris & Stacie work through the tragedy, but with 100% of their possessions lost in the fire, they have a long way to go. The home was a rental so in addition to facing the prospect of rebuilding their lives from scratch; they are looking for a new home.

We are reaching out to ask for donations to help Chris & Stacie get back on their feet. Any amount, no matter how small or large, will go a long way toward helping them recover from this loss.

Please share this page with your friends and family.

FYI, in case you are wondering about the money. I am collecting this for Chris and Stacie. 100% of the funds (minus the Crowdrise fees) will go to them to use as best they need.
