Many of you know that I coach for the non-profit Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia where we teach girls in grades 3-8 about healthy lifestyles, good choices and self-esteem...all while training them to run.
I am really excited to be a part of the GOTR NOVA Ragnar Relay team that will be running a relay race that covers nearly 200 miles from Cumberland, MD to Washington, DC on September 21-22. The twelve members of our team will be running with one purpose - to raise money to help scholarship girls who can't afford to participate in Girls on the Run so they too can feel healthy and empowered.
Please consider taking a minute to make a tax deductable donation toward this worthwhile cause. Not comfortable with online donating, no worries - a check can be made out to GOTR NOVA and in the memo section, write "Ragnar Relay - Juliet Neal" and mail to GOTR NOVA, 10560 Main St, Suite 514, Fairfax, VA 22030.
I love running. I love coaching GOTR and seeing the confidence grow in the girls as they complete their first 5k. I wish everyone had a chance to participate in this wonderful program.
Please keep me in your thoughts over the next few months as I train for the Ragnar. On behalf of all the girls in Northern Virginia, thank you so much!

Want to be a part of the experience but not run? GOTR NOVA will also receive a donation from Ragnar for providing volunteers! Volunteers will receive GOTR swag and be entered into a drawing to receive a refurbished Garmin watch. Email email@example.com if you are interested in volunteering for the Ragnar Relay on September 21-22!
