Grace isn’t new to the sweet science. Not by a long shot. The gym was her refuge as she was navigating a particularly stormy part of her life.
Gleason’s was her happy place so to speak where she could leave it all behind.
Her credo has long been, "don't dream it, be it" because no matter what you've struggled with or strived to accomplish in life, it all starts with a dream. A dream followed by focus and hard work.
Commitment, dedication and an unyielding drive to overcome her obstacles helped shape the woman she is today.
Having trained with Alicia Ashley all these years, Grace came to know the Give a Kid a Dream program and is excited that her efforts can benefit so many kids. Moreover, Grace has been has working with Chrissy Beckles, founder of The Sato Project, and adopted a beautiful dog from Puerto Rico, a blessing in her life.
To be able to further the efforts of The Sato Project and give back to a group that’s given so much to her means the world.
Sporting aside, Grace is an accomplished mosaic artist (www.GraceBaley.com) whose work ranges from small decorative pieces to portraiture and large commercial/residential installations.
Recently she’s had the pleasure of working with the Historical Society in collaboration with local schools via outreach programs, beautifully connecting art and history to create meaningful learning experiences for students.
This lifelong New Yorker takes most pride in raising her two daughters with a special focus on building their confidence as young women and maintaining their happiness.
