Grace Miller Fund

I have known Grace Miller for over 33 years. She is like a sister to me. She is the godmother to my oldest child and she is my very best friend. I was there to witness all of her challenges and accomplishments. I was there to give her a hug when things got tough and I was there to cheer her on for all her great achievements. I was there when she got her braces. I was there when she got her driver's license. I was her maid of honor when she got married. Yes, I know Grace very well!
Today, she suffers from a form of Epilepsy that causes her to have at least three complex partial seizures a day. As you can well imagine, it is the most frustrating way to live when you are used to being so active in your life and community. Grace is a fighter and would never let something like this slow her down, which is why I am contacting you.
Because of the severity of Grace’s diagnosis, she will need extra help and care to insure her wellbeing as she goes through her life and her work day. She has been working with her doctors and an organization called Doggie Does Good, who specialize in service dog training and placement. Luckily, she has been able to identify a service dog that fits her needs; her name is Riley. In order to get ownership and training of Riley, Grace and her husband, Jon, will have to invest approximately $40.000. I am hoping you will help support Grace’s quest to get Riley home.
I know that having a service dog would mean so much to her! Grace has always been very independent and a service dog would help her stay that way. Being dependent on others has been very challenging for her. She always helps out family and friends in any way possible. Having a dog would give her the opportunity to say "yes" to those of us who need her so much. Having a dog would give her a sense of normalcy that was taken away. Grace is a loving, caring and giving person who I am lucky to call my best friend.
I hope that Grace will be able to bring Riley home! Could you please help? Donations are tax deductible. Any amount would be much appreciated! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
