BENEFITING: GRACE OUTREACH

WHAT: 45-minute SoulCycle charity ride to raise money to support Grace Outreach
WHERE: Soul Cycle West Village (126 Leroy Street)
WHEN: Tuesday, July 22nd, 6:40pm doors open, 7:00pm ride starts
WHY: To support Grace Outreach, a non-profit located in the South Bronx which serves low-income women of all ages who seek to enhance their academic skills, pursue higher education and find employment. We are hoping to raise over $20k in total which will be used to support the completion of the computer lab used for high school equivalency exam test prep.
HOW: Two options:
- Sign up as a rider and agree to raise $400-500 from friends and family depending on the bike you sign up for. Bikes closer to the front will entail a higher fundraising minimum. To sign up please click "FUNDRAISE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN" to the right-hand side (below donate) to join the team. Alternatively you can click the team tab above and then click "JOIN THE TEAM" on the top left.
- Donate to a the team of riders (orange "DONATE" button on the righthand side) or to an individual rider's crowdrise page (see team tab above) to select rider)
CAN I CHOOSE MY OWN BIKE: There are a total of 40 bikes available for the 45-minute charity ride. Each rider may chose the bike he/she would like to ride. Bikes near the front (Bikes 3-9, 12-13 and 16-17) require a $500 fundraising minimum and the rest require a $400 fundraising minimum.
WHAT DOES MEETING THE FUNDRAISE GOAL INCLUDE: All riders will recieve complimentary shoe rentals, a Smartwater bottle, a t-shirt and a gift bag.
DO I NEED TO WEAR CYCLING SHOES: Yes, SoulCycle requires that you wear cycling shoes that clip into the bike. Clipping in provides a more stable, safer ride and also allows riders to target the correct muscle groups.
IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR BIKERS?: No, however the minimum height requirement is 4' 11'. Read more about Bike Safety.
WILL THERE BE A RECEPTION AFTER THE RIDE?: Yes, following the ride there will be a 30-minute celebration reception. Light snacks will be provided as well as some information on Grace Outreach.

IS MY DONATION TAX-DEDUCTABLE?: Your donation to a US-Based 501(c)3 charitable organization through CrowdRise is 100% tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. We will email you a receipt that meets all IRS requirements for a record of your donation. If you are asked to provide a paper receipt for IRS purposes, please print out a copy of your email receipt. If you lose your receipt, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll send you a duplicate. Be sure to include your first and last name and the email address you used to make the donation. Donations to indviduals are not tax-deductible.
IS MY DONATION SECURE?: This will sound really official because we know how important it is. CrowdRise processes donations through Network for Good and WePay. Neither WePay nor Network for Good is not affiliated with CrowdRise. Both are PCI Level 1 Compliant and they offer best in class security.
