Gracie's Cancer Fund
Organized by: Brittney Palmer
The love of my life has cancer. My beagle Gracie has an ulcerated rectal tumor and she needs radiation therapy. I have maxed out my credit cards paying for vet bills but I've come up short and I'm going to fail my girl. It's not her fault that I don't have the funds it is entirely mine. I owe entirely too much money in student loans and I am looking for a second job but I am afraid it will come too late. That is why I have turned to all of you. I know that money is a limited resource for everyone and it pains me to ask anyone for their hard earned money but this is her only option. I adopted Gracie in 2004 when she was an abandoned 4 week old puppy. She caught kennel cough and pneumonia while at the shelter and I spent countless nights watching her and giving her medicine. She captured my heart the moment I laid eyes on her and I can't imagine my life without her. Ever since then she has been by my side through college and break-ups and jobs. It has been Gracie and I and now it's my turn to be by her side. If you could love cancer way she would never have to suffer but that isn't the way it works. So our vet estimates that the radiation therapy will cost about $5,000.00 which is a lot of money. And that is why I Gracie and I are so thankful for this platform. Any donation to help save my girl would be so very appreciated. Thank you in advance for your compassion and generosity.
