Change for Change

I am excited to raise funds so more people can benefit from this cause. Being a SAH wife and mother of three and living check to check, i found myself switching kids clothes with friends. I soon realized that my family wasnt the only ones who struggled financially. Funds would be used to obtain the following: storage unit to hold items for next Swap, event space, tables, advertisement, clothing racks and hangers, mirrors etc. This event has been getting positive feedback and growing larger and larger. PLEASE HELP ME HELP OTHERS.

Here is a little back story on how I got started doing this. I have 3 children. Kaitlynn will be 12 in October. Ella will be 7 in January and Stone will be 4 in September. I stay at home because, lets face it.. DAYCARE IS CRAZY EXPENSIVE! My husband works full time and we live paycheck to paycheck. I would find myself exchanging clothes and shoes with friends of mine. I often wondered how many people struggled to buy clothing and shoes for themselves and their families. I researched a little bit and found that big cities have swaps, and I gathered some ideas and TOOK ACTION. That event turned out to be a lot larger than I had anticipated and they keep getting BIGGER. I have you people to thank for that.
HOW IT WORKS: Bring items to the swap. Swap them for things you will use. Please bring bags with you haul your new to you stuff home. There's NO LIMIT, but be reasonable, please. Anyone is welcome, even if you have nothing to bring... Have fun. Enjoy helping the environment and saving money and helping others :)
