BENEFITING: VESTED INTEREST IN K9S INC
Ten year old Jack Hassing has put together this Fundraiser for Vested Interest in K9's Inc. In most cases law enforcement agencies do not have budgets to provide vests for their four-legged K-9 officers. They are often first on the scene in the most dangerous situations. The K-9 goes in first, they are the first responder, and they deserve to have the vest just like their human partner. These K-9s protect the community every day and time is of the essence.
Jack wants you to know more about K-9 Grizzly and K-9 Chicka.
K-9 Grizzly is a 2 year old German shepherd certified in Patrol work and is assigned to Deputy David De La Rosa. K-9 Grizzly became a member of the Grant County Sheriff's Office in April 2016. He began his formal Police Training in January 2016 and completed over 400 hours of training. Grizzly likes going for walks, playing ball, playing in the lawn sprinklers, and training days. K-9 Grizzly is always eager to go to work and loves riding in his patrol car. Grizzly has a strong dislike for suspects who steal, burglarize and hide in buildings, Grizzly will find you.
K-9 Chicka is a 4 year old Belgian Malinois and is certified in Patrol work and assigned to Deputy Ricardo Char. K-9 Chicka became a member of the Grant County Sheriff's Office in April 2016. She began her formal Police Training in January 2016 and completed over 400 hours of training. K-9 Chicka likes going for walks, playing ball, chewing on anything, and training days. She is one of only 2 female patrol dogs in Washington State. Chicka dislikes criminals that break the law and run from the police!
Please help us protect Grizzly and Chicka while they are out protecting us. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference.
