On target and just over two thirds of the way there.

As some of you may already know, I am raising money for charity, alongside other Vitol colleagues, by taking on the New York Marathon on the 5th of November! We will be representing and raising money for Grassroot Soccer (GRS) an international adolescent health organization that educates, inspires and mobilizes young people to overcome their greatest health challenges.
To do so, GRS runs programs that connects young people with the mentors, information, and health services they need to thrive, and to make educated choices about pressing health challenges such as HIV & AIDS, gender-based violence, and malaria.
This will be my first marathon, and I have two main goals: to complete the run in under four hours and to raise $3000 for this great cause! Not only will the runners and donors be supporting the cause but so will the Vitol Foundation. The foundation have worked alongside GRS to fund projects in Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa, and for the race, will be matching every dollar raised per Vitol runner. I would really appreciate your support for the cause and my run.
