GRATEFUL FOR GEORGE
Organized by: Carol lee Spages
George Alapka was born in Nigeria, spoke up in defiance of the tyrannical government there, feared for his life, and fled to England where he was educated. When 9/11 happened, he knew he had to help fight the terrorists so he joined the US Army. He served two tours in Afghanistan where he was wounded twice and is now 80% disabled. His wife is pregnant and does not have health insurance because George is not 100% disabled therefor the government will not cover her. They can not cover their housing expenses and they have a mold issue that the building owner has not remediated. Because of his traumatic brain injury, PTSD, spinal cord damage and other physical issues, he can not find a job. George and his wife need help. With a new baby on the way (they lost the first pregnancy), they need a decent home, money for transportation, baby items and help with the bills. He served our country...it is now time to give back to him. Please help this very humble man and his sweet wife.
