Help support the cast of Great Hill Mouth as we mount a workshop as part of the Drama League Rough Draft Series! Great Hill Mouth follows a mother to be, and what happens as she spirals into a psychological process of dreaming and desire at the center of which is her absent lover Alton. At the heart of the play is the question of why we make families today.
The Rough Draft Series is an incredible opportunity to explore in the earliest stage of artistic development. Special thanks to Brown/Trinity, The Drama League family, and my family and friends for all the support!
About Great Hill Mouth: I began writing this play during my first year of graduate school at Brown University/ Trinity Rep, with the help of the incredible Deb Salem Smith. At the time I couldn't imagine being able to complete my own piece. Low and behold what began as a research based writing excersize, and a curiousity with pregnancy and dreaming turned into a full length play. It is a work in progress, and I can't wait to get a chance to develop it more.
