Cancer sucks. Being a child and fighting cancer is the most difficult challenge someone can endure. In an effort to support families battling pediatric cancer, I have decided to run the Chicago Marathon this October with Team Endure to Cure (http://enduretocure.org/). My challenge of 26.2 is nowhere near as difficult as the road of these children and their families travel. In order to better support the long journey and their fight, I will be running the distance between Boston and Chicago, 879 miles, between May 11 and race day.
Any and all of your support are incredibly appreciated. 100% of funds raised will go to Endure to Cure, which is dedicated to supporting families battling pediatric cancer. The support comes by means of uplifting gifts and experiences for the children, as well as financial assistance for those obligations not supported by insurance (food, lodging, travel, etc.).
My goal is $1,500 and every means of support counts. If you can't give monetarily, give me a high five and word of encouragement if you see me on the road! With your help we can make life a little bit easier for these tiny warriors!
Thanks and see you at the finish line!
