BENEFITING: Hospice Caring, Inc.
Hi Friends and Family,
My birthday is March 25. I won't say how old I am, but I'm never too old to know the power of camp, especially grief camp. For my birthday, I want to make it possible for an increasing number of children and teens who have lost a family member to experience the support and fun of camp.
I'm working to raise $2,000 for Camp Erin Montgomery County, an overnight grief camp that’s part of Hospice Caring. Many of you have heard me talk about Hospice Caring and know that I serve on the board as vice chair. I'm also the camp photographer! It’s this grief camp that drew me to the organization.
For many years, I’ve seen what a strong grief camp can do for kids who have experienced the death of a loved one. There’s nothing like it. It’s a time when they can connect with other kids who have experienced a similar loss and truly “get it.” Activities are designed to help them deal with their grief. But, it’s also an opportunity for the kids to be kids; to be silly, and have a great time in a setting where they are safe and free to enjoy. Camp Erin Montgomery is that kind of place, and I want to do what I can to support this overnight camp program. I hope you'll join me with a tax deductible contribution.
Hospice Caring is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and the children attend Camp Erin for free. Please help me celebrate my birthday by making a contribution to Hospice Caring.
Thanks so much,
Camp Erin Montgomery County is one of numerous program made possible by the organization’s more than 300 volunteers.
