WATERLOO COMMUNITY SCHOOLS FOUNDATION's Fundraiser:

Growing Grads Campaign

WATERLOO COMMUNITY SCHOOLS FOUNDATION's Photo

THE STORY:

Approximately 650 students will walk across the stage this spring, marking their completion of their high school experience. As supporters of Waterloo and the students in the Waterloo Community School District, we want to celebrate those who have reached this milestone and raise funds to assist those who might be struggling to reach this goal. It is our hope that we can continue to grow the number of high school graduates in Waterloo each year! You can donate a dime per student--$65 or a dollar per student--$650 or any amount between that inspires you!. Each donation will support our academic programs that inspire our students to pursue academic success.

Giving to support education and young people is quite possibly the easiest gift to make. My life was changed by great teachers and innovative ideas. I hope this helps create life-changing moments for others. 4 years ago

I assume I probably somehow graduated with a number of library fines, lost text books, and an unreasonable amount of chewing gum left under a few desks and chairs, as did most of the class of '83. This is my challenge to all my class mates 80-85 who have great memories and life long friends thanks to our days in the WCSD. 4 years ago

If an enterprising and motivated high school student rang your doorbell and asked for one dime to support the Waterloo School District you would give it to them right? One dime for each graduating senior is $65. I think that is some money well spent on a very worthy group. Give what can and help support the Waterloo Schools Foundation. 4 years ago
