BENEFITING: GRASSROOT SOCCER
ORGANIZER: GRASSROOT SOCCER
EVENT DATE: Nov 04, 2012
As many of you know, I will be running in this year’s NYC Marathon. I last ran the NYC Marathon in November 2010 to benefit Grassroot Soccer. I have again been given a spot through the generosity of one of the founders of Grassroot Soccer, Kirk Friedrich, a good friend of mine from Marblehead. I have committed to help raise funds for the organization in exchange for my entry into the race.
I have set my personal fundraising goal at $3,000 of the overall $300,000 target for the GRS marathon team. The $3,000 will provide HIV prevention education for 127 youths. I would appreciate it if you would consider pledging to this worthy cause. Grassroot Soccer is a registered international nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
