Taking the path less traveled in life requires courage, tenacity, and fellow adventurers. Nowhere is this more evident than a Colorado Outward Bound School course, where students experience life-changing moments and are able to accomplish something they once believed impossible.
One of the most passionate adventurers at the Colorado Outward Bound School is Gruffie. She has been down some of the most challenging and rewarding paths out there and she mentors us all. As a legacy staff member and current COBS board member, Gruffie and so many others are passionate about ensuring that young women, these next adventurers, have the ability to experience a COBS course through the Gruffie Scholarship, which sponsors women between ages 16 and 25.
Please support the scholarship by making a donation in honor of Marlene, Ella, or Gruffie. They are pursuing adventure within this year – Marlene through the Black Canyon Triathlon, Ella by through-hiking Te Araroa in New Zealand - to raise awareness and funds for the Gruffie Scholarship. In doing so, more women will be able to take their own paths less traveled.
