I was inspired two years ago when I met a group of Intel employees who were all embarking on the Team Will journey for 2010. I trained with them as they prepared for their cross-country trek and was so impressed these people with families and full-time jobs could have the time and energy to devote to the cause of childhood cancer. I remember attending the send-off festival at the Capitol and hearing the speeches given by everyone, including Will's father. It still makes me tear up. I enjoyed reading the stories of the heroes and hearing them talk about the heroes they had chosen. After following the cyclists on their journey I wanted to have the opportunity to ride my own bicycle across the country while promoting childhood awareness. I was so honored to be asked to be newsletter editor, and of course I accepted. I have enjoyed collaborating with Ken, John, and everyone else in getting out a regular newsletter to the Team Will community and am looking forward to the 2012 ride! Heroes i'll be riding for this year are Maddie Huebner, Tanya Strong and Delainey Zuniga.
