My entire life I have pursued the amazing world of art and all of its adventures (especially in photography), but along the way one of the things that I enjoyed the most is helping ones in need. Whether it was some simple directions, the perfect advice, or even complex tasks I will always enjoy giving a helping hand. After much hard volunteer work I have done helping out the Solano Education of Education I was given the opportunity to join the trek of Team Will's 2012 Going the Distance as its' personal photographer. It is like a dream come true. Continue to expand my horizons in the world of photography, yet share and capture the emotional connections between the riders and these children. Childhood Cancer is something that no one should look past, so with this opportunity I hope to bring attention the real importance of helping the fight against childhood Cancer. Also, give these children and their famlies the support they need.
“Go the Distance 2012” is set for June 24 - July 3, 2012. This time riding from San Francisco, CA to Boston, MA, in 10 days, Team Will plans to cross 14 states, visit 18 hospitals and participate in 7 community rallies with a goal of raising $125,000 for family support services and childhood cancer research.
