Over the years I have participated in a number of programs with Ken Scarberry so when he contacted me I just automatically stepped up to the plate after discussing it with my family.
In April 2011 our little Doxie Winnie had emergency surgery for a rare form of cancer and during the life saving measures and the treatment at UC Davis Vet. hospital our family learned how important her care and treatment would benefit not only our precious little doggie but also the treatment of "humans" so our family made a decision to continue with her chemo program as well as what ever measure the doctor felt would be in her best interest. Our family has witnessed other situations of those with cancer in different forms and this event will be my way of helping in the way I can, giving of my time.
