On April 25th and the days that followed, Nepal experienced a massive earthquake and repeated aftershocks which resulted in widespread loss of life and property. Nepal’s rural poor have been hardest hit by the earthquake and will face the most challenges in the coming weeks and years. They will require a tremendous amount of resources to recuperate. The Grady Trauma Project would like to help. We are a group within the Emory University Department of Psychiatry in Atlanta and focus on clinical services and research in a highly traumatized and low income population. PLEASE JOIN US IN HELPING THE PEOPLE OF NEPAL AFFECTED BY THE EARTHQUAKE.
100% of proceeds collected from this fundraiser will be distributed to the America Nepal Medical Foundation which provides on the ground healthcare and medical services, reaching some of the hardest-hit and underprivileged regions in Nepal. AMNF is a 501(c)(3) TAX-EXEMPTED registered non-profit organization in the US with organizational structure in the US and in Nepal and it has been active in supporting health education and other health related projects in Nepal since 1997. americanepalmedicalfoundation.com
