Hope you are doing well! We are four middle school students who were assigned a project to help make a difference somewhere in the world. This could be from helping the homeless to donating money to charity. We decided to do something big by sponsoring an entire Younglife camp in Africa.
Younglife is a non-denominational Christian ministry that reaches out to adolescents through volunteers, staff, club meetings, and camps by building meaningful relationships with leaders, other kids, and God. We attend Wyldlife, which is the middle school version of Younglife. At these camps, kids are given the opportunity to have the best time of their life. They do many different activities such as rock climbing, swimming, clubs, dance parties, sports, and so much more. It's a fun and amazing way to connect with God and really get to know Him personally, and make lots of new friends.
Families in Africa cannot afford to send their children to these camps. We want kids who struggle to develop a relationship with God and experience the same thing we did. Kids in Africa deserve a chance to forget about their daily troubles and just have a few days to have fun and learn more about Christ.
The cost of sponsoring a Younglife camp in Africa is $7,500. That sends 150 kids to camp! ($50 per child). That’s where you come in! You or you and a friend can team up to sponsor a kid to go to camp! There are just three simple steps to donate to our project (This is tax-detuctible)!
1. Click the blue "Donate to this Fundraiser" button.
2. Fill out the amount you would like to donate.
3. Click the blue "Donate" Button.
