My name is Dylan Linder. I am a biomedical engineering major at Binghamton University and a member of Engineers Without Borders.
Here at Engineers Without Borders, our goal is to utilize our skills as engineers to help those in need. Currently, the international project we are working on goes by the name of H20 for Hipolito.
Our objective for H20 for Hipolito is to provide clean drinking water and basic sanitation to the residents of the poverty stricken village of Hipolito, Peru. Globally, 1.6 million people die anually due to diarrheal diseases associated with a lack of adequate sanitation and clean water. With proper funding, we would like to install a device in Hipolito that filters rain water and provide 350-500 villagers with the clean water they need to sustain a healthy life. All donations are appreciated and will be going directly towards the cause.
