Please help support your community
Habitat for Humanity of Missoula provides home-ownership opportunities to low-income families in Missoula County. This year our organization will begin building our 45th home in Missoula for a family of five. This family will log more than 500 hours of sweat equity and will close with a 0% interest mortgage on the home.
Donations will be used to purchase building supplies and materials for the three-bedroom home, which helps support the Missoula economy. We buy building materials from local businesses such as Boyce Lumber and work with Clawson Manufacturing for energy-efficient windows. Independent contractors from around Missoula are hired for more complex tasks such as electrical and plumbing work.
Last, the Missoula economy is supported by Habitat homeowners. Over the past 20 years, Habitat families have paid approximately a half-million dollars in property taxes to the City of Missoula.
Please support our organization as we continue our mission of affordable homeownership. For questions or more information please call the Habitat office at 549-8210 or visit our website at www.habitatmsla.org.
