Taylor Paige.

My family was affected by the Haiti Earthquake because my sister's boyfriend and his father and along with 21 other persons from The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville were down there when there when the quake took place. My sister's boyfriend had never been out of the country before this trip, he never also thought he would be able to tell his friends that he survived an earthquake. He and the rest of the church members had an angel on their side. They got to Port-au-Prince early and started up to Thoman (a mountain town) where they were safe. They didnt know anything was going on until the next day and when they WALKED back down to Port-au-Prince and saw first hand how the body count and white sheets kept getting more and more and more. Those three days for them consisted of NO SLEEP, little food and crying. They never thought that they would be able to do what they did there, set up hospitals right out side of the U.S Embassy. They stayed outside for 3 days because they didnt have any room inside for them. They made friends and are taking these images with them for life.
They lost someone they just met and cried for his wife of 3 months. Renee lost her husband in the quake and the last thing she ever remembered of him was him singing his favorite hymen and when he stopped singing, she knew that he was dead.
Haiti still needs us, there people still need us. WE CANNOT give up on them.
We cannot let them see that we do not care.
the woman in green was crushed under concrete for over 14 hours. broken legs, arms, ribs, no sensation in her arms, head trauma. nd my dad still managed to get a couple laughs out of he
