MODO YOGA NYC + DOGPOUND + EDEYO
HAITI STRONG: A HEALTH & WELLNESS AFTERNOON BENEFITING THE EDEYO ORGANIZATION
We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our first ever fundraiser to support our program of bringing education, yoga and fitness into schools in Haiti.
The proceeds will benefit the Edeyo Foundation's education program which supports schools in severely underdeveloped areas around the country to have access to quality education, healthcare, yoga and fitness, helping to foster thriving communities.
This year’s event will feature an intimate yoga session led by Modo Yoga NYC, a fun smash session with the boys of the DOGPOUND, live music, live auction and amazing treats.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support the Edeyo School in Bel Air. In addition, we are raising money to fund the building of a new facility which will allow us to help more children in Bel Air.

ABOUT EDEYO FOUNDATION
Edeyo, derived from a Haitian Kreyol word meaning "help them", is a NYC based non-profit organization, devoted to improving the future for children in Haiti through programs focused on education. Supporting the impoverished Bel-Air neighborhood in Port-auPrince, Haiti, Edeyo’s primary school supplies life-changing opportunities through free education and the provision of desperately needed food, water, health care and social support to affected children. Since its grassroots beginning in 2007, Edeyo has grown to support a school of 300 elementary school students annually, providing them with a haven of safety and hope. Edeyo also provides full scholarships to 37 high school students, facilitating their path to long-term success.
