Being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in the Spring of 2016 came from left field for me and my family. No one is ever expecting to hear the "C" word when you feel completly fine and a routine mammo finds "something". And Being me I just wanted to do what I needed to do to "fix it". I could not face it and get started with what I needed to do soon enough. Surgery, 30 treatments of radiation and now hormone therapy I am here one year later post treatment feeling awesome and thankful and ready to give back. Although I did not seek the services of Ann's Place, I knew it was a saftey net for me if at any point I needed them. What they have and offer always humbled and comforted me when my Dr's told me about them and said I should go. I want to help in supporting Ann's Place so others also have that saftey net and comfort of a place to go if they need to.
