Haley was born in February 2011. It took doctors until June to diagnose her with Congenital Hyperinsulinism because it is such a rare disease. She was started on Diazoxide and was on it for 5 years, until she stopped responding to the medication and is now on a trial drug to help stop her low blood sugars. Haley's little sister, Aria, was born in April 2017 and has also been diagnosed with Congenital Hyperinsulinism. She is currently on Diazoxide to help control her lows. Please help us raise funds for more research and education to be done for all those living with this rare disease. Without proper diagnosis and treatment, these children can suffer from brain damage and even death. Your contributions, no matter the dollar amount, can make a huge difference in these children's lives!
