Hallie's Electricity In Ghana
Organized by: Hallie Echelman
I feel that in today's world it is a basic human right and need for every household to have electricity. In many villages in Ghana, families either have no access to electricity or they burn kerosene lanterns for light that produce black carbon that is terrible for people to breath and for the environment, and is extremely costly. I want to change this, by establishing a solar electricity business in Ghana that will provide families with a safe, cheap, and reliable source of electricity. In addition, the business I create will be completely run by women in the village, to provide these women with new opportunites, that will also benefit their entire village! I need to raise as much money as possible by the end of May 2015 to achieve this goal. Any contributions would be much appreciated. Thank you for your support!
