BENEFITING: LILI CLAIRE FOUNDATION INC
EVENT DATE: Sep 25, 2011
Actor/comedian/musician/all-around-hyphenate Hal Sparks will celebrate his birthday on September 25. A very forward thinking progressive, Hal volunteers a great deal of his time and energy for charities to make a positive difference in the world. I can think of no better way for his like-minded fans to help him usher in another phenomenal year than to give to one of his favorite charities in honor of how Hal has inspired them.
I have chosen the Lili Claire Foundation as the project charity this year in honor of Hal's new role as Dad. The Lili Claire Foundation benefits special needs kids and their families with supportive services at no cost to them, and was founded in honor of a little girl named Lili Claire Resnick, who was diagnosed with the neurogenetic birth condition called Williams Syndrome. Unfortunately Lili Claire passed away at the age of five and a half months, but her parents created the foundation in her name to benefit those children born with neurogenetic conditions like Williams Syndrome, Autism, Down Syndrome, among others.
Every little bit helps so please donate whatever you can to be a part of Hal's birthday celebration. (Or, if you can't give financially, get the word out! Let's meet and exceed our goal for the birthday boy!)
