Hannah's Acro Revolution Training
Organized by: Hannah Trice
4 Days to Raise $1,090!
June 14, 2016
EVENT DATE Jun 18, 2016
My vision is to create a hub for partner acrobatics and yoga, fitness, and community. As the president of ArkansasAcro, I have already watched the work of myself and my team begin to bring this to fruition. This young and growing business is at the forefront of a movement, and it's time for us to take the next step in supporting expansion.
In 2014, with the support of the community, I received my 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training from Circle Yoga Shala. I am in my senior year of an exercise science degree at the University of Central Arkansas where I'm the president of our acro group. I am an AYFit certified instructor. All of this education and experience has lead me to this point, where I become a certified partner yoga and acrobatics instructor to support the growth of our business and community.
The Acro Revolution Teacher Training is run by some of the top partner yoga and acrobatics instructors in the nation. Acro Revolution instructors are not just taught to teach, they are taught to grow in self-practice, to be a business person, and to build strong communities. The training runs from June 18-July 1, and is held in Big Island, Hawaii.
The cost breakdown is as follows:
-Training, lodging, and food while at training: $3,418 (most affordable -option)
-Plane Ticket: $1,200
-Total cost: $4,618
Through teaching workshops and holding weekly donation-based jams, our team has and continues to raise the funds. That being said, we are not guaranteed a spot in the training until we pay. The sooner I am able to put down a deposit on this training, the sooner I'll be able to bring the training back to central Arkansas. This is where I need your help.
The End Goal
I have watched and heard many times how partner yoga and acrobatics has helped an individual build trust again, learn better communication skills, become a stronger leader, and be in a community where healthy living is a priority. We don't just hold each other up on our feet, we lift each other up in body and soul. This is what my team and I will bring back to share with you.
My most challenging hurdle to overcome in attending this training is the monetary cost. Taking 18 hours of school and working as a yoga instructor and coach leaves little time for me to do extra work outside of ArkansasAcro's workshops. I am confident that this obstacle will be overcome through hard work, and with your help.
If giving here is not an option for you, here are some other things you can do to help me crush this goal:
-Make some noise. Share this campaign on your social media, especially with your friends who would love to try acro!
-Come to our classes or jams. The classes support the business, and the jam donations go directly toward the training.
-Go to our group page and take advantage of one of our perks! You can donate there and schedule a group or private lesson!
All funds donated here will be calculated into the group fundraising page. If you're curious to see how the whole team is doing, check it out there!
My dreams have become visions and turned to tangible goals. I am so, so blessed to use my gifts and do the things I love. Thank you for helping me get this far.
