In August 2013 I was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease. I was 36 years old and like most had never heard of this disease. Being the first one in my family to have PKD the news was shocking to say the least. After researching all I could about PKD I knew I was in for a tough road ahead. With the help and support of my wonderful wife I have been determined to not just be a person living with a condition. We have decided to get involved any way we could to help spread the word and fight this disease head on. We knew I needed the best doctors and a place that specialized in PKD. The place we found is the Rogosin Institute. All the doctors, nurses and staff at Rogosin are second to none. They are on the cutting edge of research trying to find a cure for PKD as well as treating all forms of kidney disease. Rogosin is world renowned for their treatments, dialysis and transplantation. They have made such a positive impact in my life. They have helped make dealing with the complications of Polycystic Kidney Disease that much easier. Rogosin has given me hope in finding an end to this condition for myself, others today and future generations to come.
