BENEFITING: Cystic Fibrosis Lifestyle Foundation
EVENT DATE: Mar 20, 2011
HOURS PLEDGED: 3
I am looking to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Lifestyle Foundation (CFLF), a foundation dedicated to teaching people with Cystic Fibrosis how to take care of their condition and enjoy healthy, active lifestyles, in honor of my close friend, Elise. Elise has been a wonderful friend of mine since grade school and has done incredible work on her own to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis awareness and research. I am delighted to use my upcoming half-marathon in New York City as an opportunity to join her in an effort to raise funds for people living with Cystic Fibrosis.
Due to advancements in treatment, and in enormous part due to Elise's positive, upbeat outlook and her diligence in therapy, she has been able to not only bring happiness to her friends, family and fiance for many years, but she has also now started on a career path helping others as an Occupational Therapist. Elise is an inspiration to everyone who has ever met her, and I hope you will join me in raising money to go towards people like her who live with CF every day, to ensure that they enjoy lives as long, happy, and healthy as Elise's has been and surely will continue to be.
Thank you for any contributions you would like to make towards this goal.
