Dear Harry, Thank you for y…
Dear Harry,

Thank you for your generous contribution to the Walk of Ages fundraiser, created by Dr. David MacDonald. As you are aware, Doc Mac will be crossing a big item off his “bucket list” in July when he treks 100 miles across Northern England along Hadrian’s Wall with friends and family. At RSNC we have special reason to cheer Doc Mac on, since he’s doing this wild and fun adventure as a fundraiser for us!

With your donation, RSNC will continue to remove barriers to independence for frail people with disabilities. We feature programs that provide physical, speech and occupational therapies, social work, transportation, a healthy meal, and most importantly a sense of community all disguised as FUN, while giving caregivers and their families much needed respite. The necessity for the programs and services we offer is growing rapidly and with donors like you, we are able and ready to feel this need.

On behalf of our participants, their family members and caregivers, our staff and Board of Directors, thank you again for your thoughtful donation! We truly appreciate your support.

One final email to let you know that I ran the marathon yesterday, and I could not have done it without your generous support! Irving's smiling face at miles 6 and 21 helped a lot, too!

I also wanted to let you know that NYU FACES is ranked as the #25 top fundraising team (out of 400+ teams) for the NYC Marathon. An unbelievable achievement given that we only had 7 people on our team!

Thank you again for supporting me, Irving and especially NYU's FACES!

I can't attach photos here, but you can see photos from the race on my facebook page or NYU's FACES page:

Lots of love,

Katie, David and Irving

Hi everyone who has supported us and FACES!

I wanted to let you know that Irving has made a remarkable recovery from his surgery and is back to school. He's doing great and is really excited to watch me run the marathon this Sunday!

My bib number is 64000, and if you would like to track me, you can download the TCS NYC Marathon running app, enter my bib number and see where I am along the 26.2 mile course! If you happen to be watching the marathon, look out for me!

Thank you again. Knowing I have your support is going to help me finish this!

Lots of love,
