The University of Texas Cowboys will be hosting our annual Harvest Moon charity concert on Friday November 18th, 2016 at Fiesta Gardens. The concert will be headlined by the Robert Earl Keen, a renowned country music artist. Harvest Moon is a concert benefiting The Arc of The Capital Area, a non-profit dedicated to empowering and providing equal opportunity to Central Texans with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
The Arc of the Capital Area empowers Central Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through compassionate case management and innovative programs. The Arc was founded in 1949 by parents whose children with I/DD were excluded from public schools and other resources readily available to children without disabilities.The Arc provides unique services to help families adapt to life with a child with a disability and to assist maturing adults with disabilities gain the skills they need to become independent. Since 1949, The Arc has spoken for those who cannot always speak for themselves, who are often our most vulnerable citizens.
"The Arc of the Capital Area is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation." 100% of your donation will go toward the Arc of the Capital Area. All managerial/tangential expenses have been sponsored.
