BENEFITING: Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation
ORGANIZER: Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation
I'm running the 2017 Chicago Marathon in memory of my mother, for the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation.
This past March, I lost my mother to alcoholism. Where she lived, there weren't many options for treatment and by the time she was willing to try there was no place for her to detox. She died a shortly there after. If there had been more options and less stigma, she may have survived this struggle.
If you have a few dollars to spare, please consider donating to this cause. Hazelden Betty Ford provides treatment center and resources to families struggling with addiction.

Help us raise money to provide healing and hope for those affected by addiction. Your donation will make treatment possible for those who cannot afford the full cost of care so they can heal and begin their recovery journey, bring families back together, help smash the stigma of addiction and rebuild hope.
Our goal is to raise $12,000 for patient aid.
