The last three mornings in a row I've woken up with a voice in my ear reminding me about what the Philipinos hit hardest by Typhoon Haiyan are going through right now: sleeping in shelters or under tarps, digging in rubble for food and medicine, waiting in lines for hours at a time to charge cell phones to reach friends and family.
It's going to be a very long while before many have homes of their own again. In the meanwhile, we can help! I know how awake and generous my friends and family are and I believe that we can join together and raise $5000 by midnight on Thanksgiving Day.
