Every year, hundreds of local families come together to share with each other their journeys, their babies and their hopes.  It is a time when we can openly grieve and remember, and through that togetherness, we grow in the hope that carries us forward.The Walk for Remembrance & Hope is Heartstrings’ most important pregnancy and infant loss outreach event to support bereaved families, and it also financially ensures the continuation of our grief support programs for families in need.

Team fundraising!  So many are touched by the babies we are honoring.  Invite your friends and family to help honor your baby/babies through contributing to a Memorial/Team fundraising page.  We have worked to make team fundraising easier by utilizing CrowdRise so that our families may create their own webpage.  You will be prompted to create a fundraising page after completing your registration.  Step-by-step directions can be found here.

Team Prizes will be awarded in the following manner: (winnings are cumulative with $3,000-raising team receiving one of each prize, etc)

Teams which raise $100+ - Certificate of Thanks featuring the honored baby's name

Teams which raise $1,000+ - Personalized Art Print from local artists ArtandJelly.

Teams which raise $2,000+ - $50 Nursery Certificate for one live tree from AB Seed

Teams which raise $3,000+ - A Night on The Town!  Gift Certificate to Marshall Free House and Red Cinema for Two -OR- one night's stay at Holiday Inn Greensboro and dinner for two at the hotel restaurant (Higher-raising team chooses first.)

NOTE:  Winners will be based on team totals as of 5pm EST on Friday, October 7, 2016.
