Get out on the water, have fun, and help some incredibly vulnerable kids! Or if you prefer, spin your heart out while watching the fun on the water! All while supporting kids.
Leah and Christos, owners of SUP East Coast Style, are all about fitness, fun and helping others. Paddle for Plummer allows them to feed all three passions. There will be SUP races, SUP yoga, spinning, food, music and more.
Plummer Home serves kids who have been bouncing around foster care for most of their lives. Their childhoods have been full of upheaval, uncertainty and instability. They need safety, stability and families that will be theirs forever. Plummer Home helps them find that.
Paddle for Plummer will take place on July 13, 2014 in Salem, MA.
This Stand Up Paddle (SUP) event will include Elite, Recreational and Youth races. Elites will complete a 6 mile paddle, recreational paddlers will complete a 1.5 mile paddle, and a short course will be available for any youth paddlers 13 and under.
Additional events include: Floating yoga at 12pm and waterfront spinning from 8am-12pm (on the hour start).
There is a $25 entry fee for youth. Individual recreational paddlers also have an entry fee of $25 with a $100 fundraising minimum. Families (2+) will pay a $50 entry fee with a $200 fundraising minimum. Elites pay a $75 entry fee with a $100 fundraising minimum. Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers in every category.
