We are raising money for Fred. Fred served in the Marines during the Vietnam war and he was assigned to 1st recon special forces. For any of you who do not know about this Recon is a group of Men/women that go out in teams of 4 to 6 personal. During the time that Fred was there the Gov. decided that they must put Agent orange all over the landing zones to get the choppers in and out. The problem here was that they knew then that if they used this agent orange that it would affect the troops. However they were told that the symptoms would not show up for up to 40 years. The Gov at that point pretty much decided that they did not care what it would do to the Vets because they thought that by that time they would never be able to associate the two together, but they were wrong. Now to make a very very long letter short lets just say they knew what was going to happen just like they did during world war ll. So now back to Fred, in 2007 he weighed in at about 210 lbs, had a six pack, did all kinds of things out doors. He water skied, snow skied, bowled, played golf, went bungee jumping and all of that stuff. And he also had a very good job, and then it started. He had a heart attack, which almost ended his life.
