The Carol and Frank Biondi Education Center is in desperate need of NEW computers for their students. Not only are the students currently working with 10 year old computers- they barely work. Computers are very instrumental in the way we communicate in our everyday lives. According to the University of Michigan's Department of Psychology, students with computer instruction have a significant gain in test scores over those with noncomputer instruction. Researchers concluded that computer instruction can engage at-risk students which is exactly what we are trying to do. We need to set these children up for success today, so they may become productive members of society tomorrow.
