Hegan an Arabian stallion needs surgery and a good home
Organized by: Horses needhomes
Hegan, an Arabian stallion, was rescued once in his life already, and now he needs rescuing in a different way. His elderly owner is unable to keep up with caring for the horses and is rehoming them.
Hegan is a ‘grade’ stallion and sadly no information regarding his bloodlines is known. Being a grade stallion makes finding a new home for him next to impossible. Add to that the fact that during his veterinary examination it was discovered that he is a cryptorchid stallion and now his chances at finding a good home have been reduced very dramatically.
We want to make sure that Hegan has a good home for the rest of his life. For this to happen, Hegan needs to have a cryptorchidectomy, a surgery to remove his descended and undescended testicles. This surgery is costly, and Hegan will need to go to a vet hospital to have it done. The veterinarian stated the surgery and associated aftercare for Hegan will cost approximately $1,500. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS SURGERY HAPPEN.
Please share and give what you can to help Hegan get the surgery he needs in order to find a new home. The money raised for his surgery will give him the chance at a new life which he greatly deserves. You can give here for his surgery, or you can also give directly to the veterinary hospital to Hegan's account (#14410) by calling (615) 591-1232 (you will need the account number when calling them).
Thank you all for your generosity toward Hegan and his needed surgery. We are looking forward to being able to see him in a new, wonderful, life-long home!
