A rock climbing expedition turned tragic when Heike Nolle fell 40 feet breaking her back, pelvis and left foot. The damage to her foot was so bad that it had to be amputated. Currently, she has to wear an external fixator to stabilize her pelvis; she is recieving antibiotics intravenously, and her prosthetic still has a weight barrier restrictions. The problem is her time is running out on. The place she has been staying while receiving physical therapy will not have room for her in two weeks.
Heike Noller is needs our support, so she can continue her much needed physical therapy. Heike has touched many lived on her travels. Having cycled across the US alone, starting in Florida and working her way up to Maine then across the continent to the west coast, where she hiked the Pacific Crest Trail. Originally from Germany Heike was sworn in as a citizen of USA only two years ago. She now resides in Colorado where she is recovering from an accident that required the amputation of a leg. Heike is a fighter, literally and figuratively. In Germany, she was a champion kickboxer and boxer. She is an inspiration to those lucky enough to get to know her.
