For over 10 years Yasobanta Mahanta has been investing time and money in a hospital for the local population in his hometown Helem in Assam, India.
>> a 40–bed hospital with modern medical-technical equipment (laboratory, X-ray, ultrasound, OP) for diagnostic and therapeutic support for regional health facilities
>> Outpatient care of the local population through connected OPD (Out Patient Department / Ambulance center: general medicine, surgery, gynecology, paediatrics, dentistry)
>> Rest house with accommodation (10 rooms)
>> Temple for all faiths In the meantime this dream has become a tangible object. In fact, a first (small, ambulatory) part of the hospital has been opened on 9 November 2014.
