BENEFITING: Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation
EVENT: New York City 2016
EVENT DATE: Sep 25, 2016
From Helen, who is 9 years old:
Hi, My name is Helen. A couple of years ago, I raised money for wounded veterans. I sold colored jars and pet rocks at the farmer's market. I was surprised that I raised $374 that day! About a year later I traveled up to New York to meet Bryan, who had lost two legs and an arm in an explosion in Afghanistan. When we met, I gave him the money in one of the jars I had made. Then he invited me to walk with him in September at the Tunnels to Towers walk. We will be walking from a firehouse in Brooklyn to the site of the twin towers in Manhattan on September 25th.
Would you please support Bryan and other wounded veterans by giving donations?
From Helen's very proud Mom:
This charity was founded by the brother of a firefighter who lost his life in the 9/11 attacks. Since then, the charity has expanded to help catastrophically wounded veterans. They are building "smart homes" to help meet each veteran's specific disabilities. Needless to say, meeting Bryan was a life-altering event for all of us. There is no describing what Bryan has been through, and what he endures every day with determination, grit, and positivity.
Please help Helen raise money to continue Tunnels to Towers' work. There are more veterans out there like Bryan who need us.
