THE STORY:

Born in Liberia West Africa, Eric Wowoh was 12 years old when the Liberian Civil War started, he was captured by rebel fighters. After beating and torturing him, they left him to die. Miraculously, Eric survived. During the 14 years that followed, Eric travelled to 11 different refugee camps in West Africa. As fate would have it, a friend gave him a desktop computer when he was 23, the seed that helped him positively impact the lives of thousands of other refugees across Africa. Using that single desktop computer, Eric founded Change Agent Network and its A4 Education Program. A4 was created to remove social, economic and cultural barriers, breaking the cycle of poverty by making education Available, Accessible, Affordable and Attainable for all Liberian Children. To do this, Eric also created the Daily Low Fees Independent Sustainable School Payment Plan. The plan uses a card issued to every student and parent to track daily educational costs. The reason why is simple; the vast majority of parents and students get paid on a day-to-day basis. Using that single desktop computer, Eric founded Change Agent Network and its A4 Education Program. A4 was created to remove social, economic and cultural barriers, breaking the cycle of poverty by making education Available, Accessible, Affordable and Attainable for all Liberian children. To do this, Eric also created the Daily, Low Fees, Independent, Sustainable School Payment Plan. The Plan uses a Card, issued to every student and parent, to track daily educational costs. The reason why is simple; the vast majority of parents and students get paid on a day-to-day basis. With the Card, they can pay their fees daily, which is much easier and durable. The Card also gives 100% transparency and accountability between the school administration and parents, guardians and students. The program covers all school fees and costs from day 1, including; ∞ Full Uniforms ∞ Teacher Salaries ∞ Computer Education ∞ T-shirts for physical education ∞ ID Cards ∞ Report Cards ∞ 9th and 12th Grade National Exams Once established, this unique school model will recollect money from student and parents, creating a self-perpetuating Fund that will help educate and enrich the lives of thousands more Liberian children. Change Agent Network needs your help funding 3 schools in Liberia this academic year 2016-2017, allowing over 3000 children to get the education they so much need to thrive and become successful adults who can contribute to society and change the world. From a horrendous beginning, Eric Wowoh survived and thrived. Please help him to help others do the same. Please donate towards a worthy cause, and give the children of Liberia the education they desperately need.
