Help A Small Business Owner Recover From Domestic Violence
Organized by: Kitty Rose
Hardley Dangerous Couture was born 4 years ago out of the home of it's mother designer, Claire Kennedy. She created her own line of clothing, created her own patterns, hand cuts fabric and sews everything by hand on 4 different machines. This business is the sole financial income for a woman with 2 children, it is what feeds and clothes her family, keeps the lights on and a roof over her 2 children's heads each and every night. This business is Claire's life, her dream, her future. She is known world wide for her amazing dresses, from weddings to high school dances and everything in between, Hardley Dangerous has created a brand both versatile and classy and adorned by women around the world. On September 24, her world came crashing down as she fought for her safety and the safety of her 2 children as her soon to be ex-husband violently attacked her and destroyed the production studio for her business. Everything is destroyed. Business has now had to come to a complete stop as production is halted until further notice. This poses great threat to Claire and her children as this was the only financial income this family has. Claire and her children have had to leave their home and go to an undisclosed location for their safety until her ex-husband is arraigned in court. He will be released from jail tomorrow, September 28th. This fundraiser is to help Claire get back on her feet and recover from this nightmare. What ever you donate will go directly towards providing for her children and her needs while she is in safety and will also help recover damages caused to the business so she can get back to doing what she loves and that's making other women feel confident and beautiful in clothing that is comfortable yet classy. THIS IS NOT A HAND OUT, THIS IS A HAND UP! Let's help lift her up! This is real, this is happening each and every day. Let's make today our day to say WE WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS! PLEASE HELP SUPPORT A SINGLE MOTHER AND A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER GET BACK ON HER FEET AND RECOVER FROM THIS TERRIBLE ACT OF VIOLENCE THAT ALMOST LEFT HER CHILDREN WITHOUT A MOTHER.
