Help A Struggling Veteran
Organized by: jeff robbins
I am a United States Marine Veteran currently suffering from severe brain scarring (encephalomalacia) and a seizure disorder. I also am living with P.T.S.D and Depession as well as many other veterans. This is precisely why I am perfectly equipped to be such an effective therapist and couselor for all those suffering in kind. As a fellow veteran these others vets will instinctively trust me and open up so we can begin the process of healing and reclaiming their lives.
Here is where your help is needed. Alone I can't realize this goal. At this point in time my wife and I are one paycheck away from being homeless. The V.A denies any of my conditions as being " service connected". Those of you reading this that are veterans know just how uncaring and unhelpful the V.A is. My goal is to finish my degree in Psychology and then start my own practice helping other veterans struggling with emotional problems and substance abuse issues. I served in many horrific combat situations, lost good friends and struggle day to day with the same emotional problems as the rest of combat veterans do. This is again why myself and other veterans like me are so critcally needed to brings these young men and women back from their living nightmares of isolation, fear and depression. What is preventing me from reaching that point is finances. I cant dedicate the time for furthering my education and earning my degree when I can't even get enough work to support the household. I am turning to all of you out there that want to help a veteran get back on his feet so he can greatly help all those thousands of servicemen and women who so selflessly offered themselves to protect and serve this country. Feel free to call me at (217) 402 3340 and ask me whatever you wish. I have all the medical documentation on my illnesses and emotional diagnoses and will happily provide them to any who ask. By helping me get started you will be helping all the others suffering that I will then be able to guide back to a healthy happier life. I look forward to communicating with you and seeing just what beautiful things we can achieve for our fellow human beings!
