Help a vulnerable child in Uganda
Organized by: Margret Katuutu
Although Uganda has a current truck record of diminishing rate HIV/AIDS infection worldwide, there is a lot to lament about the past. The past has left scars that will take generation to heal. This is mainly to millions of people like the helpless elderly parent who lost their supportive sons and daughters, the orphans, widows and widowers who are as the result of loss of their supportive loved ones have consequently entered a viscous circle of poverty. They live hopeless lives and perceive life as meaningless. Against such a background that I voluntarily reach out to the disgraced ones in order to restore peace and create a sense of positive thinking about one’s self. And identify the critically needy ones in order to offer them possible support and link them to possible support on top of sensitizing the community on their altitude to the HIV/AIDS affected people and families, promote nutrition and maternal health as well as water hygiene and sanitation.
